Of Counsel
Michael Aquino is Of Counsel at Sanchez Maselli Trial Attorneys. He worked to pay his own way through college and law school and is the first person in his family to graduate from college. After graduating from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with honors in 1983, he attended Brooklyn Law School, where he competed in the Moot Court trial competition and won the Sidney Talmadge individual award for trial excellence. He graduated from Brooklyn Law in 1986 and passed both the New Jersey and New York bar examinations on his first attempt.
Michael began his career at the Manhattan insurance defense firm where he had worked as a law clerk and was hired there as an attorney upon admission. There he successfully tried multiple bodily injury cases, building substantial experience in defense strategy and tactics. He later joined one of the largest and most prominent law firms in New Jersey, where he litigated one of the state’s largest environmental cases along with complex construction defect claims, bodily injury lawsuits, and commercial disputes.
He is a member of the Passaic County, New Jersey, Nassau County, and American bar associations.
